Bible Huddles are typically 3-5 students and one mentor who meet together once a week with 3 goals. They apply the Bible to their life. They build honesty and pray for each other. Finally, they pray for and serve the campus. We have numerous different groups this semester to choose from. Most of our Bible Huddles meet on Wednesday night at 8:30 pm at the Chapel. To learn more, contact biblehuddle@lutheranchapel.org.
Our free English and Bible Conversation Classes meet weekly at various times, days and locations. Caring volunteers from the community help students practice reading and speaking skills and improve vocabulary, while using a variety of tools including the Bible. The ultimate goal is to grow as friends. Students seeking one-on-one help can request a Conversation Partner to meet for about an hour once a week or as each schedule allows.
We provide free moving help and on occasion we receive bicycles and furniture. We host regular Holiday Dinners that foster friendships between members of the community and international students.
